Diagnostic Evaluation

• NCC uses a children's hospital model to provide comprehensive neuro-developmental evaluations of Autism Spectrum characteristics.

• Our evaluation will shed light on your child's communication, information processing, sensory-motor functions, attention, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social skills and academic readiness.

• NCC is qualified to administer the Autism Diagnoistic Observation Schedule (ADOS), the "gold standard" in Autism assessment.

• You will receive a detailed written record of your child's overall development. This is used to select the most appropriate interventions and to clearly determine how much progress your child is making from one year to the next.

Behavioral & Communication Therapies

• Therapies are customized to your child and your family situation. Our approach is grounded in evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior principles.

• We help you set up your home environment in a way that promotes development of your child's communication, social skills and play.

Outreach to Physicians & Schools

• NCC's psychologists will help you communicate an accurate summary of your child's talents and needs to medical providers and teachers.

• We review IEP's and 504 plans and can take part in school meetings on behalf of your child.
